With this being the middle of the 2015-16 school year, it marks my 30th year in the field of Speech Pathology.  This is already my eighth year returning to Win-E-Mac Schools and every day is a new challenge with new rewards.  I work with PreK- 12th grade students identified with communication disorders in articulation, expressive and receptive language skills, fluency, and voice concerns.

Additionally, this year, I am also working in a Read 180 / System 44 classroom to improve reading, comprehension, vocabulary and written expression skills for students in need of boosting skills.  Currently there are 14 students in this classroom.

As a professional, this year marks my 30th year as a Speech Pathologist in the state of Minnesota and my passion for the profession is as strong today as it was when I began my career. I believe in the public education system and love working with students of all ages in the schools.  I also hold a Minnesota K-12 Principal's license.

In addition to working with students with communication disorders, I am also the District Assessment Coordinator, lining up all Minnesota State-based assessments: NWEA Testing, MAP Testing, MCA / MTAS Testing and OLPA Practice testing.  I work as a Curriculum Writer in the summer and help with curriculum selection and writing.  I am part of our District Literacy Committee, Data Team, and Read 180 / System 44 Team.  I also am the head of our Professional Development Committee.
